General Information
The Gattaca Combine is one day event for amateur (i.e. high school, junior college and prep) football players.  College coaches and scouts attend the Gattaca Combine to evaluate the performance of players. The Gattaca Combine is held once a year during the second weekend in December at the Gattaca Football practice facility.

Combine Format
The Gattaca Combine measures athletes in the Shuttle Drill, 10yd Sprint and 40yd Sprint. Additionally, athletes participate in 1 on 1′s and a 7 on 7 period. Athletes wear an issued combine jersey with a number during the combine. The jersey color/number each athlete wears corresponds with the athlete’s information for the combine roster.

Combine Results
The Gattaca Combine results are sent to a database of college coaches that include all NCAA Division I and Division II schools in the nation.  These results include the athletes height, weight, combine results, contact information, date of birth, school they attend, year in school, etc.  The Gattaca Combine test results are published online at www.GattacaCombine.com.

Equipment and Safety
Athletes are required to use their own cleats and mouthpiece during the combine. A combine football jersey is issued to each participant. The combine is a limited contact event that does NOT include tackling or protective equipment (i.e. helmet and shoulder pads).

Combine Participants
Gattaca Combine participants include high school seniors, junior college and prep school student-athletes. All athletes must receive an invitation to participate in the combine.  Combine participants must be enrolled at an academic institution and be in pursuit of becoming an NCAA student-athlete.  To apply for a spot in the 2013 Gattaca Combine applicants need to submit an email to info@gattacafootball.com with their contact information, athletic history, and link to a highlight film.

NCAA Rules
The Gattaca Combine adheres to NCAA amateur rules which allows for NCAA DI, DII, and DIII coaches to attend this event.
